Animal: Sandeep Reddy Vanga reveals how Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh reacted to Ranbir Kapoor’s flick

Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Triptii Dimri-starrer Animal has remained the talk of the town ever since its release. While Sandeep Reddy Vanga's project emerged as a blockbuster minting huge at the box office, Animal also remains surrounded by several controversies. Several moviegoers including some celebrities criticized Animal and blamed the maker for glorifying misogyny, patriarchy, and toxic masculinity. 

However, the actors as well as the director have defended their work. Vanga also never refrains from giving a befitting reply to the celebrities who criticised Animal and its content.

The proud filmmaker is going public to share the responses of some other prominent celebrities in the town.

Recently, Vanga revealed that SRK has seen Animal’s teaser and he liked it.

During an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, Vanga said that he has met the Jawan actor twice. “We didn’t speak about it (Animal). He saw the teaser, he liked the teaser. I showed him the teaser in the office, he had come during Ganapati,” Vanga was quoted as saying.

Further, he also stated that Ranveer Singh’s feedback for the movie comes to his mind and is stuck with him. 

Vanga said, “Since it is 40 days, bohut zyaada overwhelming, and main khud soch main pad gaya wala response mila tha Ranveer Singh se. He spoke to me for almost 40 minutes on phone. And jitna lengthy message diya hein, woh main 3-4 baar pada hoon abhi tak. Bata nahi sakta kaisa hai ki, par bahoot maza aya message padke! (It has been 40 days since the release of the film and the most overwhelming response, the one that even made me think, came from Ranveer Singh. He gave such a lengthy message, and I have read it 3-4 times already. I don't want to say much but it made me really excited!

Further, he added, “He (Ranveer) wrote a lot of things about Animal which I thought, 'Arre yaar yeh bhi hain nah film mein'. Waisa.” (I was like, ‘Oh, this is also there in the film?’)

In the same interview, he also expressed his desire to work with the Pathaan and Cirkus actors. 

He said, though he met SRK twice, he had no conversation with him regarding a potential collaboration. 

“I want to work with Shah Rukh Khan sir. Every hero ke liye kuch na kuch idea rahega. In Hindi, I definitely want to work with Shah Rukh sir, Ranveer Singh,” he concluded.
