Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Triptii Dimri-starrer Animal scripted several box office records and emerged as a blockbuster. Following the humongous success, it was confirmed that Sandeep Reddy Vanga will come up with its sequel, Animal Park. Earlier it was speculated that the sequel would go on floors in 2025. But the latest reports suggest that moviegoers will have to wait a little longer. However, he confirmed that Animal Park will be 'bigger and wilder' than Animal.

Recently, Vanga attended an award show in Mumbai where he shared a big update on Animal Park.

ETimes quoted Vanga as saying, "This is going to be bigger and wilder than Animal." However, he added that the shooting of the film will begin by 2026.

Earlier, a report by Instant Bollywood suggested that the makers are considering to rope in Vicky Kaushal. As per the report, the Sam Bahadur actor is being considered for the antagonist role.

Though there is no official confirmation backing the reports, ot will be certainly exciting to watch Vicky locking horns with Ranbir.

Notably, Animal’s story ended with a small introduction of Aziz who exactly looks like Vijay (Ranbir). Aziz is a professional butcher and has taken a vow to take revenge for his brother Abrar's (Bobby Deol) death. Aziz has a plastic surgery done so that he looks exactly like Vijay. The sequel will probably focus on Aziz’s avenge story and how Vijay takes him down.

Undoubtedly, the movie will be darker, more complex, and deeper than Animal. If the reports are anything to go by, Vicky Kaushal will essay the role of Aziz, who later undergoes plastic surgery to look like Vijay. And it will be ultimately 'Ranbir Vs Ranbir'.
