Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani, is one of the highly-anticipated movies. While makers have already introduced Prabhas' character Bhairava, finally, they revealed legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan's character in the movie on Sunday.
The Millennium Star's poster from the movie, revealed by the makers on Saturday fuelled anticipation among all. On Sunday, the makers finally revealed about his character in the epic sci-fi dystopian movie. Big B will be seen in a never-seen avatar in the movie.
In the teaser, Amitabh Bachchan is seen dressed in earthy tones like an old sage. He is seated in a cave and worshipping a Shiva Linga while chanting mantras. Suddenly, a child's voice can be heard in the background, trying to communicate with him. While talking to him, the child asks, "By any chance, are you God?" To this, Bachchan chuckles and says, "Listen, the time has come. My final battle begins now."
Next, the child asks, "Who are you?"
Replying to the child, the old sage says, "Since the last age of Dwaparyug, I have been waiting for the arrival of the tenth incarnation. Dronacharya's son Ashwatthama."
The teaser also gives a glimpse of a younger Ashwatthama, from the Mahabharat battlefield.
The last glimpse shows Ashwatthama walking out of the cave with a sword.
The number of views of the teaser dropped on YouTube is increasing with every second and so is the number of likes. Even the comments section is flooded with praise.

Earlier today, sharing a motion poster of his looks in the movie, Bachchan wrote, "It's been an experience for me like no other .. The mind to think such a product, the execution the exposure to modern technology and above all the company of colleagues with stratospheric Super star presence .." (sic)
The first look of the living legend from the movie was unveiled on Star Sports on Sunday, before the start of the IPL 2024 match between Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans. Earliest, the makers had also teased about the first look unveiling event.
Well, this big update has certainly spiked the thrills among moviegoers, who are excitedly waiting for the theatrical release of Kalki 2898 AD.
