Andaz Apna Apna 2 is happening! Aamir Khan confirms, watch

Hindi movie Andaz Apna Apna, released in 1994, starring Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon, Karishma Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor, and Paresh Rawal, among others, achieved a cult status. Helmed by Rajkumar Santoshi the movie remains one of the most celebrated comedy movies of BTown. This movie still remains the single movie starring Aamir and Salman together in the lead.

Certainly, many moviegoers are eagerly waiting to see the duo onscreen again. And now, the latest revelations about Andaz Apna Apna 2 has filled excitement among all.

On Thursday, Aamir Khan turned 59 and celebrated his birthday with his Lapatta Ladies team. Later in the evening, he also hosted a live session on Instagram. Fans flooded the comments section with birthday wishes for the Dhoom 3 actor. Even several others inquired about his upcoming movies,, apart from updates on Sitaare Zameen Par.

Responding to a query, the Laal Singh Chaddha actor confirmed that Andaz Apna Apna 2 is happening. Further, Aamir also confirmed that director Rajkumar Santoshi is working on the script.

Aamir said, "We have recently learned that Rajkumar is working on the script of Andaz Apna Apna. This big news is the hottest thing and has recently surfaced. However, this is the initial phase and we can't express more excitement. I am glad that he started thinking about it. I think it will be a great film for all of us to do and for the audience to watch."

Well, this big update has filled excitement among his fans and moviegoers. Even it is an overwhelming news for fans of Salman Khan as well. Fans are hopeful that Aamir and Salman might reprise their roles in the sequel or atleast share screen space again. However, it is not confirmed whether Aamir and Salman will be repeated in the sequel or not.

On the other hand, Rajkumar Santoshi has currently teamed up with Aamir Khan for Lahore 1947. While Aamir is producing the movie, fans expect he will have a cameo in the movie. Lahore 1947 stars Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta in the lead. Moreover, Sunny's son Karan Deol, Shabana Azmi and Abhimanyu Singh will be seen in pivotal roles.
