Allu Arjun 'replaces' Salman Khan in Atlee's ambitious period saga: Report
Tollywood Icon Star Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' emerged as the highest-grossing Indian film post-Covid at the global box office. While riding high on the success of Pushpa 2, also starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in key roles, Bunny seems to have bagged another major project. According to a recent report, Bunny has replaced Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in Jawan fame Atlee's ambitious period saga.

Earlier, certain reports claimed about the possibilities of Atlee and Salman Khan's collaboration. Later, reports were abuzz that Allu Arjun is likely to collaborate with the Jawan fame. Well now, the latest report claims that Allu Arjun has 'replaced' Salman Khan in Atlee's ambitious period saga.
According to the latest report by Peeping Moon, Atlee faced certain hurdles after Sun Pictures’ hesitancy to invest in a Salman-led venture.
The report also asserted that the Happy actor, who was the first choice of Atlee and Sun Pictures since the inception of the project, has given his nod for the project.
As per the report, a close source to the development said that though the paperwork is pending, Allu Arjun has given his nod to the project. And Atlee's ambitious mega-budget period drama will be his immediate next after Pushpa 2. The source further revealed that while the shooting timeline and other logistics are being worked out, Atlee has plans to kick off pre-production by April-May.
However, fans need to wait for an official confirmation regarding Allu Arjun replacing Salman Khan in Atlee's project.

According to the earlier reports, Atlee's next is a two-hero period saga. Leading Tamil production house Sun Pictures will bankroll the movie, although it is yet to officially come on board to finance the project which may have a budget of over Rs 600 crore.

Notably, according to earlier reports, Atlee's yet-to-be-titled ambitious period saga is infused with a reincarnation theme. The cinematic endeavour, touted as a grand-scale period saga, promises breathtaking visuals and unparalleled entertainment. Moreover, reports also suggest that there will be three leading ladies in the movie and Janhvi Kapoor is being considered for one of the roles.
