Allu Arjun became jobless after debut!

Allu Arjun made his debut at the age of three in 1985 with Vijetha. As a lead, he made his debut in 2003 with Gangotri, helmed by K. Raghavendra Rao. Though he hails from a film-oriented family, he remained jobless after his debut. However, it was Sukumar, who came to his rescue and signed him as the lead in Arya. It was a breakthrough movie for Allu Arjun and it earned him numerous accolades.

Recalling his old days, Allu Arjun recently hailed Sukumar for saving his career.

"I made my debut as a lead actor with Raghavendra Rao garu’s Gangotri. He delivered a superhit, but I didn’t deliver as an actor. No one came to work with me after the release of the film. Then, a debut filmmaker came up to me and offered Arya. There has been no looking back since then,” said Allu Arjun.

In the absence of Sukumar, the Happy actor said, “When I look back at my career, and if I have to point out the one person who had the maximum impact in my life, it would have to be Sukumar. Even now, he is busy with the post-production. His absence speaks louder than his presence. I miss you, Sukku. We are all in this together.”

Throughout his illustrious acting career spanning over two decades, Bunny has worked in around 21 films.
