Allu Arjun's viral wine shop video: 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' actor breaks silence, 'Yes, it was me, but...'

The massive success of Pushpa: The Rise made Tollywood's Icon Star a Global Star. Apart from North India, the craze for the South actor sprawled overseas. Following that, haters started circulating an old video of Allu Arjun in which he was spotted at a wine shop in Goa and purchasing liquor. While fans stood in support of their favourite star, haters trolled him brutally. Well, after remaining mum for a long time, the Pushpa actor has broken his silence and admitted that it was indeed him at the wine shop.

Currently, Allu Arjun is busy with the promotions of his upcoming flick Pushpa 2: The Rule. Recently, Bunny graced the popular talk show 'Unstoppable with NBK' for the promotion of the much-awaited flick. When asked on the show about the viral video, Allu Arjun candidly spoke about it.

He confirmed that it was indeed him in the video. However, the Arya actor further clarified that he was buying the alcohol as a favour for a friend.

He said, "Yes, it was me, but I wasn’t purchasing it for myself."

Well, he also added that the friend he was helping would also join him on the show.

The episode in which Allu Arjun made the BIG REVELATION is set to premiere today (Thursday) at 7 pm. The show will stream on the Aha OTT platform. This episode is split into two parts. Reportedly, the first part will showcase some entertaining moments, exclusive insights and a special appearance of Nirmala Allu, the actor's mother. With this show, Pushparaj will kickstart the promotions of Pushpa 2: The Rule across India.

Notably, the makers are bracing up the GRAND RELEASE of Pushpa 2: The Rule trailer on November 17. Also starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, the movie, helmed by Sukumar, is scheduled for theatrical release on December 5.
