  • Pushpa 2 and Singham 3 are all set to release on the same date-August 15, 2024.
  • So the stage is set for an epic clash between Allu Arjun and Ajay Devgn.

The recent much-awaited announcement of the 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' theaterical release date has elated fans waiting eagerly for the update. Mythri Movie Makers have locked the release date on August 15, 2024. Director and writer Sukumar took to social media in the afternoon to share the announcement today.

The first movie from the franchise released by the end of December 2021 and it went on to become a massive blockbuster. Allu Arjun aka Pushparaj is expected to become a big red sandalwood smuggler in the sequel and hence fans are excited to see his elevated swag which is an integral part of the iconic character.

Nevertheless, on the same day, Rohit Shetty ’s Singham 3 will hit the theaters. It is also a much-awaited movie as the sequel to Singham was released a decade ago. Rohit is considered the boss of action-oriented movies in Bollywood and has a remarkable track record. Despite the fact that his last release Cirkus with Ranveer Singh was a debacle, he has a huge legacy of franchises including Singham and Golmaal and all of these movies have been immensely successful.

Ajay Devgn has always impressed in action movies and his role as Bajirao Singham is one of the most loved characters of Bollywood in recent times. Just as Pushpa’s popular punchline “Flower nahi fire hai” and 'Pushpa Jhuekga Nahi' drove cine lovers crazy, Singham’s “Aata mazhi satakli” is also a big hit among the franchise fans.

And now these two movies will release on the same day, on August 15, which is a National holiday. While Allu Arjun has a good hold in the South he also now has an impressive following in the Hindi belt. Ajay Devgn undoubtedly is a bigger pan-India star but Pushpa is a recent hit and a character that is so fresh in the minds of the people.

It would be interesting to see who will surge ahead when both Bajirao Singham and Pushpa lock horns at the box office.
