Tiger Shroff new entrant into Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe after Deepika Padukone!

Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe has earned a dedicated fanbase. The massive success of Singham and Singham Returns starring Ajay Devgn, Simmba starring Ranveer Singh, and Sooryavanshi with Akshay Kumar says it all. While the team is currently prepping up for Singham Again, another action star is all set to join the team. It’s none other than Tiger Shroff.

As per a latest report, Tiger is the newest addition to Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe. Touted as India’s biggest cop film, Singham Again will feature Kareena Kapoor and she will reprise her role in the third instalment. If the reports are anything to go by, Deepika Padukone will be seen as a female cop and Tiger will also don the character of a cop in the mega-budget action movie.

As per an exclusive report of PinkVilla, Tiger has come on board and Rohit has plans to introduce him as a new cop to the universe.

PinkVilla quoted a source close to the development as saying, “It’s a cameo appearance for Tiger Shroff in Singham Again and Rohit plans to introduce him as a new cop to the universe. Much like his Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi, Tiger Shroff too will have his own distinct identity in the cop universe with traits unique to his own personality.”

Further, the source also revealed that Tiger was offered another cop franchise film but he chose to go with Rohit.

“It’s a schedule of combination dates with Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi. The trio will be shooting by September end/Early October and Tiger Shroff too will be joining them for a short 6 to 7-day period,” the source added.

Apart from the planned mass entry along with others, Tiger also has some solo portions and he will have a personality entry sequence for which he will join the sets soon. Further, the source also revealed that Singham Again will eventually make way for a solo cop film with Tiger Shroff and Deepika Padukone.

Singham Again is expected to go on floors in the next two months.
