"Sometimes the most beautiful things in your life happen by chance," Ali Fazal who turned 36 today had said at OTV’s 10th annual convention- Foresight 2020. But the actors' journey in the cine industry from a cameo in Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots to Hollywood, speaks both about 'by chance' and a lot of hard work and dedication.

The charming and handsome boy, who had even made the small role in 3 Idiots a memorable one, has come a long way ever since then.

While this Aamir Khan movie offered him a Bollywood debut, Ali had already appeared in an English movie The Other End of the Line, and a miniseries on American television titled Bollywood Hero before coming to the Hindi film world.

Ali Fazal worked on both Bollywood and international projects simultaneously

While it was Fukrey (2013) that gave him recognition, prior to that he also had acted in some not-so-popular movies like Baat Ban Gayi, Always Kabhi Kabhi, and Bobby Jasoos.

In the last few years, he has worked in some good and mediocre movies like Khamoshiyan, and Happy Bhag Jayegi simultaneously also doing international projects like Furious 7 in 2015 and in a British-American production Victoria & Abdul that showcased the relationship between Queen Victoria and Abdul Karim, her servant. The movie’s premiere was held at the prestigious Venice Film Festival.

Heartthrob and Power Brand Trendsetter

From a young boy of Allahabad to becoming the heartthrob of millions, Ali Fazal has been the darling of many young hearts. He became a part of the Most Desirable Men 2014 list and was also named the Power Brand: Industry Trendsetter in 2019. Ali also worked in Death on the Nile with Gal Gadot.

The Fukrey actor recently tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Richa Chaddha in a simple yet traditional ceremony. The couple introduced their film production house Pushing Buttons Studios in 2021 and will soon be announcing their first production venture.
