Actor Akshay Kumar is all set for his next 'Khel Khel Mein', scheduled for theatrical release on August 15. On the other hand, Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 will also be released on the same day. While excitement among fans for Stree 2 is high, fans of Akki are eagerly waiting for his next. However, as it seems, this time it will be Akki Vs Akki on August 15.
Though it sounds surprising, as per the latest reports, Akshay Kumar will be seen parallelly in two movies clashing at the box office.
The latest development suggests that Akki will be seen in a special appearance in Stree 2. A report in HT City confirms that Akki will make a special appearance in the Rajkummar and Shraddha-starrer horror comedy flick.
The report quoted a close source as saying, "The makers felt his comedy timing is impeccable, and his presence even for a few minutes will elevate that particular sequence.”

While details about the sequence with Akki's special appearance are not known, it has already elevated excitement among fans.
Certainly, if the reports are anything to go by, it will be a rare event when an actor opts to make a special appearance in a movie clashing with his/her own movie.
Interestingly, it has been confirmed that actress Tamannaah Bhatia along with Varun Dhawan as Bhediya will make special appearances in the Amar Kaushik directorial. Moreover, Akki's cameo in Stree 2 might be an indication of his inclusion in the franchise and the makers might have plans to make another project under the Maddock Supernatural Universe led by Akshay. Well, these are just speculations and fans need to wait for an official confirmation.
Stree 2 also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana in pivotal roles and some new faces were revealed in the teaser. On the other hand, Akki's Khel Khel Mein is a comedy-drama, also starring Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor and Fardeen Khan in key roles.
