  • Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival 2023 red carpet a day ago.
  • A giant silver hood and black long gown were the highlight of her look at Cannes.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan walked the red carpet at Cannes 2023 for the 20th year in a row. Over the years, she has been slammed regularly for her fashion choices. While her earlier few appearances were widely appreciated, the last few years have seen Ash opting for some unexpected gowns and dresses that have not gone well with her fans and social media followers.

The PS2 actress walked the red carpet at the screening of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny in Giant Silver Hood designed by Sophie Contour. The dress was completely out of her comfort zone and hence her appearance shocked most of her followers.

The long black gown with a train and shimmering silver head made it difficult to get a glimpse of the beauty queen’s face which was mostly highlighted by her signature crimson lip colour.

As expected, she was escorted by two gentlemen as someone was needed to handle the train while she walked and posed on the red carpet. The red carpet compere at the Cannes Film Festival has always adored Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s presence and announced that she is very striking.

However, fans back home are disappointed and a few even suggested that Ash should stop going to Cannes or at least change her fashion designer. A netizen also called her Urvashi Bhootela and another one wanted to know where the fashion police of Bollywood is.

In the last few years, the former Miss World has been repeatedly slammed for maintaining the same hairstyle, fashion choices, crimson lipstick, and plastic smile. It is a fact that Ash has not been seen in any other style apart from her long hair covering her face from both sides.

As a diva, her fans expect her to keep on experimenting with new looks but it seems the Bollywood superstar has now disappointed her followers. However, she did make a remarkable impact as Nandini in PS1 and PS2 which did very good business at the box office.
