Tollywood actor Vijay Deverakonda and his fans still must be in shock after the disastrous outcomes of his Bollywood debut movie Liger. Now, it seems, National Crush Rashmika Mandanna also faced a similar situation after her B-Town debut movie ‘Goodbye’ failed to make a decent collection at the box office.

Vijay and his fans' hope was certainly high from Liger, also starring Ananya Panday and Boxing legend Mike Tyson. However, the stars were not in his favour. After enticing movie lovers with his spectacular performances in Tollywood movies like Geetha Govindam, Dear Comrade, and Arjun Reddy, Vijay failed to entertain movie lovers with Liger. Apart from the boycott campaigns, several other factors are expected to be the reasons behind Liger’s crash.

Meanwhile, many are even speculating if Vijay will once again feature in any Hindi movie or if this will be the end.

On the other hand, Rashmika also had built high hopes among her fans after the official announcement of her foraying into Bollywood. However, seems, she failed to continue her onscreen magic with her debut Hindi movie Goodbye, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan in a prominent character.

Despite having a touchy story plot, Goodbye failed even to surpass the Rs 1 crore mark on the opening day. The dark-comedy flick managed to collect Rs 90 lakh at the box office on day one.

As per trade analysts, the figure is less than Big B’s last release Jhund’s day one collection, which was Rs 1.5 crore.

Though the makers had announced to reduce the ticket price on day one to Rs 150 across India, the movie failed to attract the audience. Even the presence of other prominent actors like Neena Gupta and Sunil Grover apart from Rashoo and Big B didn’t work out.
