  • It's been a year since Sidharth Shukla took his last breath.
  • It was a tough and trying time for Shehnaaz Gill.

Exactly a year ago, Sidharth Shukla died suddenly of a heart attack leaving the Indian entertainment industry in shock. The country had still not recovered from the sudden demise of Sushant Singh Rajput when yet another popular actor who had reached the peak of fame after winning Bigg Boss 13 breathed his last and that too when he was young, healthy, and happy.

For more than a month, fans of Sid kept on mourning his loss with other Bigg Boss contestants like Rahul Vaidya, Asim Riaz and more sharing their experiences of interacting with Sidharth Shukla. But the one person who was most affected was Shehnaaz Gill who was very close to Sidharth and since their stint in the Bigg Boss house, the two had attracted a lot of limelight as SidNaaz.

She was quite heartbroken and it took her a couple of months to recover and make a public appearance after Sid’s death. Interestingly, she was so close to Sidharth and his family that Sana stayed with Sid’s mother for a long time after his death and even maintained connections with Brahmakumari’s Foundation which has always been revered by the Shukla family.

Shehnaaz re-started focusing on her career and for the first time was spotted promoting her movie with Diljit Dosanjh after Sid’s death. Post that, she has been quite active. Be it doing a photoshoot for Bollywood’s A-listed fashion photographer Dabboo Ratnani or walking on the ramp for the first time, Shehnaaz slowly and steadily has now stepped into the entertainment world and is inching toward being one of the stars in Bollywood.

She is beautiful, young, and has the strong support of a big superstar like Salman Khan who has roped in Sana against Raghav Juyal for his upcoming movie Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. She also has bagged a lead role in Sajid Khan’s comeback movie which will also star John Abraham, Riteish Deshmukh, and Nora Fatehi.
