Salman Khan
In a bizarre turn of events straight out of a film plot, a 36-year-old woman named Isha Chabria was detained by police after allegedly trespassing into Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartments, in Mumbai during the early hours of 21 May. The woman claimed she had been invited by the Bollywood superstar himself — a claim that has since raised eyebrows and sparked an official investigation.
According to police sources, Chabria, who identifies as a model, told authorities that she had met Salman Khan at a party six months ago and had been invited to visit him. Around 3 AM, she reportedly accessed the apartment complex and knocked on the actor’s door. She further alleged that one of Khan’s family members answered, but confusion followed when they denied having extended any invitation.
Security personnel, suspicious of the woman’s persistence, alerted the police. Upon being questioned, she continued to insist that she was a guest of Khan, although this has been firmly denied by his family.
Interestingly, Chabria’s intrusion came just a day after another individual, Jitendra Kumar Singh, also attempted to enter the premises, claiming he wanted to meet the star. Police have now registered two separate cases of trespassing and are looking into both incidents to determine whether there is any connection.
While Salman Khan continues to enjoy unparalleled popularity, the Galaxy Apartments incidents are a reminder of the fine line between admiration and intrusion. As the investigations continue, the question remains: was this a case of mistaken invitation, or an alarming pattern of fan obsession?
