But with so many horror movies streaming on the OTT, it is difficult to choose a few. Here are some of the best picks to make your job a lot easier.

Insidious (2010)

Directed by James Wan, the movie is about a family haunted by an unwelcome presence in their new home where they have shifted just a few days ago. The family gets shaken when their elder son Dalton goes into a coma. That is when the family decides to make a visit to the psychic and travel to unimaginable existence plans so that the soul of their son can return. The movie already has three sequels the last one being Insidious: The Red Door.

Paranormal Activity (2007)

The movie is about a couple who detect a paranormal presence after moving into their suburban home. To find out what it is the couple sets up video cameras and what unfolds is full of terror and unexpected horror.

The Addams Family (1991)

It is a family-friendly classic that works well if you are looking for a spooky movie that is not terrifying. If you intend to watch it with kids then opt for the new cartoon version which also has a road trip-themed sequel. However, the original is way too interesting and its sequel Addams Family Values is a must-watch for the sheer chemistry between Anjelica Houston and Raul Julia.

The Sixth Sense (1999)

The quote, “I see dead people” is still fresh in the minds of those who have watched this movie. And even today it is one of the most popular movie quotes used on Halloween Day. The movie is about Haley Joel Osment who is a 9-year-old child helping ghosts and the tale is about how he does this in a thrilling way.

There’s Someone Inside Your House (2021)
