Telugu-origin movie 'Pushpa: The Rise' starring Icon Star Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna made it to the headlines since its announcement. Now, the anticipation among fans is all about 'Pushpa: The Rule'. Fans are eyeing updates on the sequel.

While the climax of the first chapter showed Pushparaju (Allu Arjun) avenging SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, played by Fahadh Faasil. Pushpa forced the cop at gunpoint to get undressed after which he tied the knots with Srivalli. Now, everyone must be expecting that SP Shekhawat will bounce back stronger to end the reign of Pushpa and his illegal activities. However, the recent buzz suggests something else.

As per the latest buzz, Pushpa will be seen locking horns with a new cop. Certain media reports suggest that the makers have roped in Vijay Sethupathi for the sequel and he will lead the mission against Pushpa. Vijay will be seen as a higher official of Fahadh and the duo will join hands to take down the red sandalwood smuggler.

If the reports are anything to go by, it will be double trouble for Allu Arjun while facing the cop duo. However, there are no official reports backing the buzz. Fans need to wait for the same.

With 'Pushpa: The Rise' Allu Arjun went on to garner the attention of the audience in the north belt. Much before the movie's release, the posters released in intervals fuelled up the anticipation among fans as the Icon Star was all set to hit the theatres in a never-seen avatar.

Apart from the Icon Star's look, his swag, iconic punch lines, songs and groovy moves flattered movie lovers across the world. Pushpa's dance steps on the song Srivalli drove several celebrities crazy. Starting from sportspersons to cine industry icons to the general public, everyone was seen recreating the steps. Apart from that, the iconic signature move of Pushpa still is recreated by many.

Though the movie went on to garner massive appreciation, the worldwide box office collection couldn't reach to Rs 200 crore mark. However, if the report of adding Vijay Sethupathi on board is to be believed, the sequel may script records with greater box office collection.
