Negativity continues to follow Rashmika Mandanna as people are slamming her for saying during one of the press meets that she has not watched Rishab Shetty’s Kantara. Earlier there have been reports that Rishab and Rashoo are not on good terms. The reports were indirectly confirmed when during an interview Rishab Shetty refused to take Rashmika Mandanna's name when asked who he would like to be his next lead actress among Samantha, Rashmika, Sai Pallavi, and Keerthy Suresh.
Incidentally, Kantara is one of the biggest blockbusters from the Kannada film industry after the KGF franchise. Contrarily, Rashmika made her debut as a Kannada actress, and hence when the Pushpa: The Rise actress said that she has not watched the biggest Sandalwood movie Kantara it irked the Kannada film fans.
They have been continuously saying that Rashmika Mandanna should never work in any Kannada movie again as the audience has banned her and does not want to watch her movies. Recently when Rashmika shared a post announcing the streaming of her Bollywood debut movie Goodbye on OTT, most of her followers said that they will watch Kantara multiple times instead of watching her movie.
A few others also stated that it is better that Rashmika is out of the Kannada film industry because now the cash register is ringing more. From calling fellow netizens to ban “ this overacting ki dukan” to asking her to give due respect to her native language, the social media users gave multiple comments and suggestions to the Geetha Govindam actress.

Her two Bollywood movies Mission Majnu with Sidharth Malhotra and Animal with Ranbir Kapoor are expected to hit the screens next year. Importantly, Pushpa continues to add more glory to the name of Allu Arjun and Rashoo. After getting a good response in Russia, the hit song Srivalli from the movie is now among the top 20 most searched songs on Google.
Later, on Friday, talking to reporters after an event, Rashmika said: “I just have love for them. I don’t know what else I’m supposed to say about it. It’s left to them.” When a reporter asked the actress if any producer has banned her, she said, “So far, no producer has banned me.”
