Kasturi Panda from Odisha has secured All India Rank 67 in the Civil Services Examinations 2022, the results of which were announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Tuesday.

In an exclusive interview to OTV, Kasturi Panda elaborated that there is tough competition in the civil services. However, she managed to crack the coveted exam in her second attempt.

“One just needs some guiding force or motivation to complete any task or achieve goal in life. Parents were my motivation as my father is already into the administrative services. Since my childhood, my parents gave wings to my dreams,” said Panda.

According to Panda, she has cracked the civil services without any coaching. “I used to study all by own. I opted for sociology even though it was not a subject in my graduation. Anything is possible through hard work and dedication,” said Panda.

Panda further said that her preference is IAS and she wants to work in the field of technology and work for women, other genders and in the education sector as well.
