The National Testing Agency (NTA) has finalised the dates for the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test 2021.

As per the latest notice, the dates have been revised for UGC-NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycles.

NTA has said that the exam, which was postponed for several times, will start on November 20, 2021. “The new dates for the UGC-NET, December 2020 and June 2021 cycles are November 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30 and December 01, 03, 04 and 05,” the NTA notice read.

The detailed date sheet will be uploaded soon on the NTA website.

“Candidates are advised to regularly visit NTA website(s) www.nta.ac.in, https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in for the latest updates regarding the examination,” the notice read.

It is pertinent to mention here that the December 2020 session was postponed owing to Covid-19 pandemic situation. In a bid to regularise, the exam was merged with the June 2021 cycle.

A lot of candidates had earlier requested for postponement of the exams to avoid a possible clash with other exams in the country. Now, as per the NTA notice, the examinations will be conducted in two phases.
