The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2021 has been postponed again. A notification in this regard has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA), which is the conducting body for several public examinations in the country.

It is pertinent to mention here that on September 3, 2021 the NTA had rescheduled the examination dates for UGC-NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycles. The revised dates of examination were announced from October 17 to October 25, 2021.

Earlier, the exam was scheduled be held from October 6-8 and October 17-19.

“Several requests have been received from candidates regarding the clash with some other major examinations. Hence, NTA has decided to postpone the UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycles,” the latest NTA notice read.

As per the notification, the NTA will announce the revised dates for the conduct of the UGC-NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycle shortly.

The NTA has advised candidates to regularly visit the official website(s) www.nta.ac.in, https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in for the latest updates regarding the examination.
