The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha on Friday announced the extension of deadline for submission of online application form for the annual High School Certificate (HSC) examination 2023.
The Board has granted 10 days extension for enrolment of students and payment of fees. With the extension, the online application forms can be submitted till October 18. Earlier, the deadline was supposed to end on October 8 (today).
"The last date for deposit of fee and submission of online application form for enrolment of Class-IX students has been extended till 18/10/2021 midnight," a press note undersigned by the vice-president of BSE stated.
"No further extension shall be allowed, since Summative Assessment-I for Class-IX will be conducted basing on this enrolment data," it added.

The BSE started the registration process for the HSC examination, 2023 on September 24, 2021. As per the process, head of the schools can register names of Class 9 students for HSC examination through the official site of BSE, bseodisha.ac.in.
In order to register the names of the students, the school authorities have to click on the Latest Updates section and select 'Online registration of candidates for High School Certificate Examination, 2023'.
The user will be redirected to another page and the login page will appear on the screen. The head of the institutions can log in by entering their respective school code and password. The password shall be the same by which they filled up application forms for Annual HSC Examination-2021.
