Bhubaneswar: Even as uncertainty continues over the resumption of physical mode of teaching in educational institutions owing to the Covid-19 pandemic, a final decision regarding the conduct of examinations for under- graduate (UG) and post-graduate (PG) students is likely to be taken soon.

Higher Education Minister Arun Sahoo on Tuesday said a high-level meeting with all Vice-Chancellors of the State has been convened on June 12 to find a palpable solution.

During the virtual meeting, various important issues including education during the Covid-19 induced lockdown and examinations will be discussed and suggestions of the Vice-Chancellors will be sought.

“After the meeting with the Vice-Chancellors, a meeting with the principals of all colleges will be held. Only after proper consultation and discussion, appropriate decision will be taken on the conduct of examinations,” said Sahoo.
