The Odisha Higher Education Department on Thursday announced the revised timeline for Plus 3 admission for the 2021-22 academic session.
As per a letter issued by the department, the dateline for admission of candidates of first selection merit list has been extended till September 18 (7 pm). Earlier, the deadline was supposed to end on September 16.
Similarly, the payment gateway for online deposit of admission fees by students through SAMS (Student’s Account) portal is opened till September 17 (11.45 pm). Earlier, the deadline was till September 15.

Updation of slide-up option form online by the admitted students during the first round of admission can be done till September 18, instead of September 16.
The respective institutions can update data of admitted students including error reporting in the e- space (For First Round Admission) till September 18.
The notification said the Second Selection Merit List will now be published on September 23 (11 am), instead of September 21 (11 am).
Students shortlisted in the second selection list can deposit admission fees online through SAMS [Student's Account] portal from 2 pm on September 23 to September 27 (11.45 pm).
The admission of applicants for the Second Selection Merit List will be held from September 24 to 28 (Except Sept 26 (Sunday).
“For filling up of the vacant seats, guidelines will be issued latter on by the Higher Education Department,” Rajesh Kumar Sahoo, Deputy Director, HED informed.
He has asked the principals of all degree colleges to allow the selected students for admission as per the timeline mentioned above.
