Candidates interested to take admission in different courses of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will get more time to do so as the varsity authorities have announced extension of deadline for submission of applications for admission and re-registration for the July 2021 Session. 

As per the latest notification of IGNOU, the deadline for the submission of applications for admission and re-registration has been extended till September 15.

Students can visit the online admission portal for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) Programmes: https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/ to apply for various courses.  In order to re-register, candidates can visit Samarth Portal https://ignou.samarth.edu.in.

“The fresh applicant is required to create new registration and submit all the details and choose the programme he/she wants to pursue. The applicant should read the instructions carefully while submitting the application. The university offers programmes in various disciplines at masters' degrees, bachelors' degrees, PG diploma & diploma, PG certificate & certificate programmes and appreciation/awareness level,” read a press release issued by IGNOU.

The July 2021 cycle of admission was started on June 10, 2021. 

Earlier, the deadline for the registration for various UG and PG programmes offered by IGNOU in the July 2021 session was August 16. However, the university had extended the admission and re-registration deadline till August 31, 2021.

Meanwhile, the university has released hall ticket for the June-2021, Term End Examination. Students can log in to https://ignou.ac.in and click on the link 'Hall Ticket for June 2021 Term End Examination' to download hall tickets by entering their Enrolment Number and programme code.
