The Council For The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has issued important notice regarding the Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) board examinations 2022.

The details of the circular can be assessed by students on the official CISCE website.

The circular is specifically meant for three category of candidates: 1. Pass Certificate Not Awarded (PCNA) candidates, who wish to re-appear for the ICSE/ISC examinations to be held in the year 2022. 2. Pass Certificate Awarded (PCA) candidates who wish to improve their grades in one or more subjects. 3. Absent/Withdrawn candidates who wish to appear for the ICSE/ISC examinations in 2022.

Here are the instructions:

Pass Certificate Not Awarded (PCNA) candidates: Such students can appear the Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) board examinations 2022 as candidates in regular attendance (Type 1) at the school for full certificate. However, the candidates will have to be admitted to Class 10 of ICSE and Class 12 of ISC at a Council affiliated school and the entry of the candidates concerned will have to be confirmed with the CISCE through the online module.

As per the Board, these candidates will have to follow the bifurcated syllabus. They will have to appear for the examinations of semester I and semester II.

Such students can appear the Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) board examinations 2022 as candidates in not in attendance (Type 3) at the school for full certificate. However, such candidates will be permitted to re-appear for the examination only once in a year following their failure, but thereafter without further attendance at council affiliated school. These candidates will have to study the entire reduced syllabus (Semester I and II) for the 2022 examinations.

The question paper pattern will be identical to the pattern followed for the Class 10, 12 examinations held in 2021. The examination for these candidates will be conducted in the month of March/April 2022.

Instructions For Pass Certificate Awarded (PCA) candidates: Such students can appear the Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) board examinations 2022 as candidates in regular attendance (Type 2) at the school for a supplementary certificate. They will have to be admitted to Class 10 of ICSE and Class 12 of ISC at a Council affiliated school and the entry of the candidates concerned will have to be confirmed with the CISCE through the online module.

As per the Board, these candidates will have to follow the bifurcated syllabus. They will have to appear for the examinations of semester I and semester II. Similarly, such students can also appear the Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) board examinations 2022 as candidates in not in attendance (Type 4) at the school for a supplementary certificate.

These candidates will have to study the entire reduced syllabus (Semester I and II) for the 2022 examinations.
