The National Testing Agency, NTA has revised the exam dates for UGC NET Exam 2021 for December 2020 and June 2021. Candidates can check the new exam dates on the official notice of NTA's website.
"NTA has come to know from the student community that the October 10 examination date is clashing with some major Examinations that also have been scheduled for that day. With a view to ensure larger participation of candidates and to remove the hardship caused to them, it has been decided to reschedule some of the dates of the UGC-NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycles," NTA said.
Old days and dates: October 6 to October 11, 2021
Revised days and dates: October 6 to 8 and October 17 to 19

NTA further said that the detailed date sheet will be given subsequently. It also advised candidates to keep visiting the official website of NTA (ugcnet.nta.nic.in) and (www.nta.ac.in) for the latest updates.
On the other hand, NTA has already begun the registration process for UGC NET June exam. Candidates can apply online by visiting the official site of UGC NET- ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply for the UGC NET June exam is September 5, 2021.
"Due to postponement of December 2020 UGC-NET in view of COVID-19, the schedule of June 2021 UGCNET has been delayed. In order to regularize the UGC-NET examination cycles, the National Testing Agency (NTA), with the concurrence of UGC, has merged both UGC-NET of December 2020 and June 2021 cycles so that they be conducted together in CBT mode. The Application process is therefore being reopened for the new applicants to fill in and submit their forms," an official notice read.
