The Central University of Odisha, Koraput will reopen its campus for research scholars, post graduate (PG) and undergraduate (UG) students in a phased manner from the second week of September.

As per an official notification, the University will reopen for the research scholars on September 13. Similarly, the PG/UG (3rd, 5th, 7th & 9th Semesters) students will be allowed into the campus from September 20, 2021.

All the students will have to strictly follow the Covid-19 protocols and detailed guidelines have been issued in this regard.

The hostels will be opened from September 13 and 20 for research scholars and PG/UG students, respectively.

Outstation research scholars and students have been asked to get their 2nd dose vaccination certificates or latest Covid-19 Negative Test Report (RTPCR) issued in the last 3 days of their arrival at the hostels.

They should produce the certificate or test report at the main entrance of the campus, the University said in a press release.

All boarders will be undergo a mandatory seven (7) days quarantine period in their allotted rooms in the hostel on single occupancy basis. The students must bring face masks, sanitizer, Adhaar Card, Identity Card and other essentials for smooth stay during the quarantine period.

“All the students must produce the parent’s declaration form. It is informed to download the declaration form available on the University website and get the signature from their parents. Before coming to the campus all students are advised to visit CUO website for latest information,” the release added.
