  • As per the latest CBSE circular, the last date for registration has been extended to September 6, 2021.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Friday extended the deadline for registration for the training of teachers and counsellors on CBSE online career guidance and counselling portal for students.

As per the latest CBSE circular, the last date for registration has been extended to September 6, 2021. The Board has asked the officials of its affiliated schools to register their teachers/ counsellors on the link uploaded on the CBSE website.

The CBSE wants to create career counsellor/ teacher dashboard and train them through a digital training session of 1 hour and 30 minutes duration.

It is pertinent to mention here that CBSE had launched the dedicated portal on career guidance and counselling for students earlier this month.

The portal offers information on careers, college directories, courses, scholarships and competitive entrance examinations.

All the students of CBSE from Class IX-XII can sign up on the portal with their details and access a personalised career dashboard.

Each student through individual career dashboard can access:

-Over 560 careers (English, Hindi and 8 other languages).

-25,000 colleges and vocational institutes spanning over 3 lakh courses, 1200 scholarships, 1150 entrance exams.

The Board in a circular had earlier stated that the portal with entire career curriculum will be offered to students free of cost.
