The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will issue combined Mark-sheet-cum certificate to students who have cleared the Class 12 board examinations this year.

In a circular, the CBSE clarified that the combined mark-sheet-cum certificates will be issued to the students of Class 12 in place of a separate mark-sheet and passing certificate.

The decision was announced soon after the publication of the much-awaited Class 12 Board Examinations results, 2021 on Friday.

The Board has clearly stated that no merit list will be prepared for Class 12, 2021 results. As a special case, the Board will neither declare subject-wise merit list of students nor will it issue merit certificates to the students.

The total pass percentage recorded in Class 12 examination this year is 99.37 percent with 12,96,318 students clearing the board examination.

CBSE officials said that the result of about 1060 schools is still under process as there was no reference year. As a result, looking into the interest of the candidates, the results of these schools will be declared in a weeks’ time.

“The results of 60,000 students of these schools and some few other schools will be shown as “Result Later”. The results will be declared within a weeks’ time,” the official CBSE letter read.
