CBSE Class 12 results 2025 likely to be announced on this date
Students across India eagerly await the release of their Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 examination results for the 2025 academic year. Following the exams conducted from 15 February to 2 April 2025, CBSE is anticipated to publish the results by mid-May, consistent with previous years' releases.
Accessing Results
Upon declaration, students can download their scorecards from the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in. Alternatively, results will also be available through platforms such as DigiLocker, the DigiLocker app, SMS services, the UMANG app, and the Pariksha Sangam portal. Additional sites providing this information include cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and cbse.nic.in.
Historical Context
In preceding years, results were announced on 13 May in 2023 and 12 May in 2024, while in 2022, a delay resulted in a release on 22 July. Given these trends, mid-May is a logical timeframe for 2025 results.
What to Expect in the Scorecard
The CBSE Class 12 scorecard will detail the student's name, roll number, subject scores, overall grades, and other pertinent information. A minimum score of 26 out of 80 is necessary in each theory subject, alongside securing at least 33 per cent aggregate in theory and practical exams, to qualify.
Students calculate their overall pass percentage by dividing the total marks of five subjects by 500 and then multiplying it by 100. CBSE implements a nine-point grading scale from A1 to E, where A1 represents the highest-performing candidates.
Preparation for Results Day
As the result date approaches, students are advised to have their login details at hand for easy access and to keep abreast of announcements via official channels.
