The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to announce Class 10 board results for the 2024-25 academic year soon, with over 24.12 lakh students awaiting scores.
The exams, held from February 15 to March 18, concluded last month, and while CBSE has not confirmed an official result date, past trends suggest declarations by mid-May.
Scores will be available on:
Official Websites: cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in.
DigiLocker and UMANG App: Access via the “Issued Documents” section (login required).
Students need 33% marks in each subject to pass.
Those falling short by 1-2 marks may receive grace marks at CBSE’s discretion.
Failed candidates can opt for supplementary exams or request answer sheet re-evaluation.
Last year (2024), the Class 10 pass rate was 93.60%, with girls outperforming boys (94.75% vs. 92.71%). Over 47,000 students scored above 95%, and 2 lakh+ secured over 90%.
Five-Year Trend:
2021: 99.04% (pandemic-adjusted criteria).
2022: 94.40%.
2023: 93.12%.
2024: 93.60%.
Students can:
Choose academic streams (Science, Commerce, Arts) for Class 11.
Apply for re-evaluation or supplementary exams if needed.
