The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results of the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations on Friday.

After releasing the results, the CBSE has now released the modalities and schedule for the verification of marks, obtaining (scanned) photocopy of evaluated answersheets and re-evaluation of answers.

In a latest notice, the board has clearly stated that the requests for all the above processes shall be accepted only in online mode. A processing fee will be charged from the students who want to verify the marks or obtain photocopy of evaluated answersheets or re-evaluation of answersheets.

Schedule Verification of Marks

Apply online from May 16 to May 20, 2023.

Fee: Rs 500 per subject

Obtaining photocopy of evaluated answer books

Apply online from May 31 to June 1, 2023

Fee: Rs 500 per answer book

Re-evaluation

Apply online from June 5 to June 6, 2023

Fee: Rs 100 per question

As per CBSE, the overall pass percentage in the Class 10 board examination went down by 1.28 percent compared to last year. A total of 93.12 percent of students passed the Class 10 examination this year. However, this year’s pass percentage is better than the pass percentage of 91.10 percent in 2019 in the pre-Covid period, said CBSE.
