Hours after announcing the Class 12 board examination results, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) also published the results of Class 10 on Friday.

As per official sources, the overall pass percentage went down by 1.28 percent compared to last year. A total of 93.12 percent of students passed the Class 10 examination this year. However, this year’s pass percentage is better than the pass percentage of 91.10 percent in 2019 in the pre-covid period, said CBSE.

Out of the total 21,84,117 students who had registered for the class 10 examination, 21,65,805 students had appeared in the examination. Like Class 12, the girls have outperformed boys in the Class 10 examination.

The overall pass percentage of girls is 94.25 percent while 92.27 boys have passed the examination.

1,95,799 students have secured 90 percent and above marks while 44,297 students have scored 95 percent and above marks in the class 10 examination.
