  • CBSE to hold Class 10, 12 physical exams in August if COVID-19 situation improves
  • Class 10, 12 exams were earlier cancelled in view of the pandemic

Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on June 25 went live on Twitter and said that the students who are dissatisfied with their Class 10, 12 results can appear for the optional exams in August.

The students, who are not satisfied with the results, need not worry as the government is fully prepared to conduct the exams if the situation is conducive.

"The physical exams will be conducted in August once the situation improves. I reiterate that our top priority is your safety, health and future," said Pokhriyal.

 

 

CBSE has framed the evaluation criteria for Class 10 and 12 students and it was also accepted by the Supreme Court, said the Education Minister.

Later, he thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the cancellation of the board exams in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, the exam dates of the physical exams may be released by the Board next month in case CBSE finds the situation conducive to hold the exams.
