At a time when students are eagerly waiting for the date sheet of the board exam, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Sunday issued a warning against fake time tables for Class 10 and 12 exams.

The board informed that some fake date sheets for CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams are in circulation on several social media platforms and hence, students must not fall prey to those fake time tables.

"The multiple versions of datesheets doing the round are fake. The exam schedule will soon be announced and the students and parents should wait for official information," a senior board official told Hindustan Times.

While the annual practical examinations/ internal assessment and project assessments for session 2022-23 are scheduled to start from January 1, the annual theory exams are scheduled to start from February 15, 2023.

Students must note that CBSE will not give second chance to appear in the practical examinations. So, they must appear in the exams as per the schedule provided by the Board.

Besides, the board has already released details on subject-wise marks breakup and practical details for the students. "All stake holders are requested to take necessary actions to ensure timely completion of Practical examinations, internal assessments and project assessments," an official CBSE notice read.

The CBSE is yet to release the date sheet for 2023 theory exams, but it is expected to release the same soon.
