Ahead of the crucial Class 10 and 12 board examinations in 2023, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released details on subject-wise marks breakup and practical details for the students.

In its latest notice, CBSE informed that the practical examinations and board’s annual theory examinations are scheduled to start from January 1 and February 15, 2023 for both Class 10 and 12 students.

CBSE has further stated that schools are committing mistakes while uploading the marks in respect of practical/ project/ internal assessments.

It is pertinent to mention here that CBSE is yet to release the date sheet for 2023 theory exams. “All stake holders are requested to take necessary actions to ensure timely completion of Practical examinations, internal assessments and project assessments," CBSE notice read.

Earlier, the CBSE had released instructions and listed out measures to be undertaken by the students and schools regarding the conduct of class 10, 12 practical examinations, internal assessment and project in 2023.

The Board had asked the students/ parents to ensure that their subjects of studies are reflected correctly in the list of candidates submitted by the schools. Similarly, they should be aware of the syllabus and the subjects in which practical examinations are to be conducted.

The students should appear in the practical examinations as per schedule as no second chance to appear in the practical examinations will be provided by the Board, CBSE had stated.
