CBSE Class 10, 12 board exam results: Union Education Minister updates on dates

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday reiterated that the CBSE class 10 and 12 results will be announced ‘at the right time’.Speaking on the sidelines of a programme, Pradhan said that the evaluation process takes time and the CBSE will declare the results as per the schedule.

“The CBSE exams were underway till June 15. And, for the evaluation of papers, it takes at least 45 days. So, it’s only 30 days and 15 more days needed for evaluation,” said Pradhan.

However, it will not take 15 more days, said the Education Minister adding, “I had a discussion with the CBSE officials yesterday. The CBSE results will be released at the right time.”

Recently, the University Grants Commission (UGC) directed all the higher educational institutions to take into account the CBSE board exam result announcement while fixing deadline for the under graduate admission process.

The UGC requested to provide sufficient time to CBSE students, who are awaiting their result, for admission in undergraduate (UG) courses.

Meanwhile, it is expected that the CBSE Class 12 result will be announced in the last week of July, Class 10 result may be released in the first week of August.
