CBSE Circular On Practicals With Compartment Exams For Class 12 Students, Check Details

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an important circular regarding the conduct of practical, internal and project assessment with compartment examinations of Class 12 students.

In its latest circular issued on Thursday, the CBSE has said that some students have been placed in RP (Repeat in Practical) category in few subjects in the Class 12 results which were announced recently.

All these students have to appear in practical examinations, internal and project assessment and compulsorily in theory examinations too, the circular read.

The CBSE has asked the schools to comply with the guidelines given below;

Application for Compartment Exams:

The schools need to submit the names of these students for compartment examinations in theory part also for the examination scheduled from August 25, 2021.

Conduct of Practical Exams, Internal Assessment and Project Assessment

It may be noted that the schools will submit the marks to the Regional Offices after conducting the practical examinations/ internal assessment/ project assessment only in online mode in respect of the candidates placed in RP (Repeat in Practical) category.

It may be ensured that the schools do not call the students for these assessments, in face to face mode, unless specifically permitted by the respective state governments.

The CBSE has also instructed the schools to seek the help of Examiners who were earlier appointed. “The process shall be completed and marks shall be sent to the concerned Regional Offices by August 31, 2021,” the circular added.
