A whopping 97.89 per cent students have cleared the annual matriculation, or the Class 10 examinations, the results of which were announced by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha on Friday.

Students Not Satisfied With Results Can Appear; BSE Announces Registration Schedule

Not a single school in the State recorded ‘zero’ result this year. The pass percentage in 2020 was 78.86 per cent.

It was for the first time that the BSE published the matriculation results without conducting the Board exams which was earlier cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic this year.

Announcing the results, School and Mass Education Minister Sameer Ranjan Dash said that out of the total 5,74,125 students, who had enrolled for the matriculation exam, 5,62,010 students cleared the exams.

Of the total 5, 62,010 students who passed the matric exam, 2,80, 351 are boys and 2,81, 658 are girls.

The total pass percentage in 2021 matriculation examination stood at 97.89%.

The pass percentage of Ex-regular students is 88%.

While announcing the results at the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) office in Cuttack, Dash informed that a total of 5945 schools have scored 100% results while no school in Odisha scored zero or nil results this year.
