Youth stabs minor girl multiple times to death in Odisha village

In a shocking incident, a minor girl was stabbed to death by a youth over suspected previous enmity. The heart-wrenching incident has been reported from home in Karapalli village, under the Gopalpur police jurisdiction in Odisha.

The accused stormed into the girl’s house and stabbed her multiple times, leading to her death.

Background Of the Case:

The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was discovered with severe injuries to her hands and various parts of her body, leaving the locals in shock. Her family has accused a man from the Jatni village in Khordha district, alleging that the accused had some previous enmity with the girl.

According to sources, the accused’s sister was a classmate of the victim. Both the girls studied together at a college in Berhampur. However, the accused’s sister has gone missing for quite some time now. Suspecting the victim’s involvement, the accused is suspected of having attacked her.

In a previous effort to address the situation, the victim's family had reportedly lodged a complaint against the accused youth at the local police station, voicing their concerns over his advances. Local authorities are continuing their investigation into the matter.
