Youth’s body found hanging inside house in Puri, family alleges murder

The body of a youth was found hanging from a ceiling fan inside a woman's house at Sahupada village under Brahmagiri police station in Puri on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Suryakant Biswal.

Though it is still unclear whether it is a murder or suicide, the family members of the deceased have lodged an FIR in the police station alleging that Suryakant has been murdered.

There have been speculations that this might have been a suicide case due to failure in love.

A motorcycle was found from the spot. Upon being informed, Brahmagiri police reached the spot and started a probe into the incident. The body has been sent for post mortem.
