Youth arrested for blackmailing minor girl in Bhubaneswar

A youth has been arrested by Nayapalli police on the charges of extorting money and gold ornaments by blackmailing a minor girl with whom he had developed friendship over social media.

The accused Asish Jena had allegedly threatened the minor girl to upload her obscene video on social media.

This made the victim to steal cash and gold ornaments from her home. As per reports, the victim had handed over gold ornaments worth around Rs 1.5 lakh to the accused.
