Mumbai model alleges love jihad, forced conversion and rape; 'The Kerala Story motivated me to come forward'
At a time when the Commissionerate Police has launched ‘safe city drive’, the incident of road romeos allegedly passing lewd comments and vandalising property inside a ladies hostel in Bhubaneswar has come as a major concern. The incident was reported from Nayapalli area on Friday night.
As per initial reports, around 5 youths allegedly passed some comments at a girl and later entered the ladies hostel and vandalised furniture and other property at around 10 pm.
“I was standing outside the hostel when one of the youths hurled a stone which hit me. When I confronted them, they pushed me and started beating me and other inmates who rushed to the spot,” said hostel owner.
Another inmate alleged, “The youths always pass lewd remarks. They entered our campus and vandalised property.”
As per reports, furniture, TV and other articles were damaged by the youths who fled on high-speed bikes. Meanwhile, Nayapalli police have started an investigation into the incident.
