Two ganja peddlers flee police custody during medical checkup in Odisha's Malkangiri

Two persons arrested on charges of peddling ganja fled police custody during a medical checkup in Malkangiri on Friday. Sources said, one of them has been nabbed from a jungle while the other one is still absconding. 

According to reports, the two accused were arrested by police on Wednesday while smuggling ganja and brought to Kalimela hospital for a health check-up before being produced before the court. 

However, the duo managed to give the cops a slip.
