The involvement of second foreigner, a Dutch national, in this scam is under scrutiny,” said EOW in a release.

David was issued with tourist Visa but he was indulged in business/promotion activity which is not allowed as per the rule of the Ministry Of External Affairs.

“EOW would report this fact to MEA for necessary action in addition to the legal action in the current case. However his Indian associates are still issuing Youtube Videos using his AI-generated picture and voice,” said EOW.

Earlier, the EOW had arrested two key accused- Gurtej Singh Sidhu and Nirod Das-in connection with the scam. Sidhu was arrested from Rajasthan while the Odisha head Nirod was arrested from Bhadrak.
