According to reports, the gang brandished firearms and even assaulted staff during the chaos. CCTV footage shows the men threatening shoppers and swiftly escaping after the loot.

Investigators suspect the gang’s links to inter-district criminal networks specializing in organised robberies. Multiple teams have been deployed, but no significant breakthrough has been reported yet.

Locals have expressed concern over the delay in arrests and the growing audacity of criminal gangs. “Shockingly, armed men can loot a shop in broad daylight and still remain free after almost a week,” said a local trader.

Senior police officials have assured that efforts are ongoing to identify and apprehend the culprits at the earliest.
