Robbers Loot Gold Worth Rs 1 Cr, Rs 8L Cash From Bank Locker In Dhenkanal

As many as four unidentified robbers looted gold jewellery estimated to be worth over Rs 1 crore from the locker of the Odisha Gramya Bank under Rasol Police limits in Dhenkanal on Wednesday.

As per reports, the robbers also took away cash, estimated to be around Rs 7-8 lakh, from the bank before making good their escape.

The robbers allegedly threatened the bank employees by brandishing weapons and attacked two of them. The employees have suffered injuries during the scuffle, added reports. 

The police arrived at the spot after they were informed and have launched a hunt for the fleeing looters.
