Recovery of woman's body from Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Express; murder suspected

In a new development in the recovery of a woman's body from the toilet of the Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Express, it is suspected that the victim was murdered.  Such suspicion cropped up after the post-mortem, which indicates injury on the deceased woman's neck, probably with a sharp weapon.

However, the identity of the deceased woman is yet to be ascertained.

Earlier, the body of the woman was recovered from a toilet of the Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Express after it arrived at the capital city here on April 20, 2023.

A sanitary staff had reportedly spotted the body of the woman inside the toilet of the S-5 coach of the train.
