Police on Tuesday detained four more suspects on charges of involvement in the sensational murder case of Puri Jagannath Temple senior servitor Krushna Pratihari.

Puri SP Kanwar Vishal Singh informed the media on the development saying four people identified as Kunmun Suar, Tutu Mohapatra, Hari Panda and Jagan Khatei have been detained in connection with the murder case.

Earlier on Monday, police had arrested six people including two prime conspirators Kalia Singhari and Dolagobinda Singhari who had allegedly planned to eliminate the senior servitor.

The Police have already clarified that Krushna's murder was a revenge and fallout of the 2012 Guna Singhari murder case.

According to the revelations, hired assassins deputed by the rivals of Krushna were promised a payout of Rs 30 lakh for the contract.
